TACFIT Foxtrot

Completed Tacfit Foxtrot @ Delta level today in 13:10. I have to say I am pretty happy with that time. I did the KB push press phase with a 16kg bell. I think my forearms are still getting preped when working with a kettlebell because they get sore really fast from the pressure of the bell.

My wife is getting off early at 3pm today so we are going to do a little shopping. I want to pick up some Underarmour gear. I also might pick up some shoes depending on deals going on. We will also be making a quick stop to Costco and Whole Foods. I don't get to visit Whole Foods as much as I would like because it's about a 25 minute drive from my place but when I get to go it's always a treat. Let me know if you have any recommendations for me to buy when I'm there.

TACFIT Echo

Today I completed Tacfit Echo at the Delta level. I was feeling a bit gassed but I got through everything with a pretty good score so I'm happy about that.

Still fighting to get my weight down and fighting off those cravings that summer brings. Ice Cream, Beer, Chips... Keep me away from the summer parties I would be just fine. I am starting to feel like my mind is in a bit of a better frame now so I will just keep at it.

Stretching and Intu-Flow

This past weekend has been busy with two picnics/get together. Saturday was my wife's family picnic and Sunday was my wife's work's picnic. Needless to say after running around and being in the sun all both days I didn't get in much training. I did however get in some Intu-Flow and stretching.

My left knee was a but twinggy after Saturday. I think it was from all the running around and lateral movement. I stretched it out last night and it seemed better this morning however not 100%. I hope to get back to Tacfit on Thursday my next day off.

TACFIT Alpha, Bravo and UGS

Completed first session of Tacfit Alpha Last Thursday. It's is a 20/10x8 protocol and of course I did it the way I was doing Commando by taking the lowest score of each a recording it. I forgot about getting the total score after all was said and done.

Today was Tacfit Bravo a 4:00/1:00 with 4 total moves. I ended up with a score of 245. I tried to take my 1 minute H/R however I quickly lost track of the number of beats. Because I can't really focus on a 4x7 schedule it's kind of pointless to worry about my H/R recovery time. I think I might just stick to keeping track of my total score.

My UGS's arrived in the mail yesterday and to my surprise they have Tacfit emblem on them rather than the RMAX one that is shown in the picture on their website. I was pretty happy about that! I tried them on and they are a perfect fit, just like a glove for my feet. I must say I was pretty impressed after my first workout session with them. When pulling them out of the box they looked kind of flimsy but once I put them on and they stretched a bit they formed right around my feet. I am very happy I bought them and I know that the more use they get the more comfortable they will feel.

UGS's

I just placed an order in for some of RMAX International UGA shoes size 12. I will let you know what I think of them when they get delivered.

TACFIT Zulu done las Tuesday

I completed the full tacfit program at delta level with success. I did not follow much of a 4x7 or 7x4 wave due to my schedule however I still feel good after completing it. I did not have a single injury or twinge to to speak of. The only issue that I ran into was the tail bone pressure from spinal rocks and that's an on going issue with me that I need to work through.

My plan is to do the same training however with scoring and H/R monitoring. I am hoping my schedule will open up later this month early next month. Time will tell but one thing is for sure my training will continue. I still want to train myself to get up early from work so I can train before however this is going to be a huge challenge for me and I don't know how I should tackle it. I am hoping that my work schedule might change in the fall to a more 9-5 mon-fri style schedule. This will allow me to train in the morning with ease... I hope lol. For now I will just stick to what I have been doing and thing about training in the early am.
