Biggest Loser Competition

I forgot to post that my wife's work is doing a Biggest Loser competition and although I don't like the name all the much I thought hey I could lose a few pounds. Here is how the competition goes. Everyone throws in $20. There is 7 people "playing" so that's $140 total. The winner gets the pot and the rest of the contestants have to take the winner out for dinner. The competition started Augusta 25th and ends November 25th. They go by percentage of body weight so it fair to everyone playing.

I weighed in at 6"1' 213lbs. I think ideally I would like to be about 190lbs. I have quite a bit of muscle so it will be interesting to try to keep my mass but lose the fat. I am hoping Tacfit Commando will help me with that. It is nice to have a competition like this to keep me motivated and my head in the game. I have been about 210lbs for around a year now so it will be interesting to see how well I can do.

Diet is key. Tacfit Commando is a great workout and should serve you very well. I noticed a lot of 'shifting' in my physique from flab to functional even when I wasn't paying that much attention to my diet. When I dialed in what I was eating and kept my workout pretty consistent weight started to move pretty drastically.

(I see you are linking to Mark's Daily Apple so he may have you already dialed in on that front -- he likes to say about 80% of your results are going to come from diet and I tend to believe it based on my own anecdotal experience.)

Morazi, I didn't notice much change when it came to the scale on the first round of Commando but I did notice a change in my body and that's what counts. I think of myself as healthy right now. I might not be the weight that I astatically want but I still feel I am healthy.

It has taken me a long time to be comfortable with my body but I am almost there. It's more than how much you weight it's also how you look at yourself.

I do believe that 80% is diet for sure. I think of myself as an 80/20. 80% being good clean healthy food and the 20% is the not so clean stuff that I will have on occasion.
